Bonjour cookie monsters!
Today I will be telling you about a small french pastry I learned to make in France. This pastry is small, sophisticated, and  the perfect snack! Can you guess what pastry this is? It has a round shape, comes in several different colors, and is a little bigger than a quarter. If you were thinking of macaroons, you are correct! The colors and sweetness of them, will make it hard to eat just one.

MACAROON MAKING

  • Step 1: Pulse a 3/4 cup of almond flour and 1 cup of sugar in a food processor until thoroughly mixed.
  • Step 2: Preheat the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Step 3: Whisk two large egg whites until the mixture is foamy.
  • Step 4: Add a pinch of tartar cream & 1 cup of superfine sugar.
  • Step 5: Whisk for about 5 minutes.
  • Step 6: Over the egg whites sift the flour mixture.
  • Step 7: Mix again.
  • Step 8: Put the mixture into a macaroon baking pan.
  • Step 9: Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Step 10: Take out the macaroons and let them cool for 5 minutes.
  • Step 11: Put chocolate, raspberry, or coconut filling.
  • Step 12:  Eat away!!

The Classic Batch of Cookies or Should I Say Happiness

Hello Cookie lovers! Do you find yourself constantly craving a snack or a sweet treat ? Well if you are, then today is your lucky day! I am going to give you guys a classic recipe, a recipe that is sure to bring a smile to your face and warmth & delight to your mouths. It has been my grandmothers for years and boy is it good. There is no feeling of too much sweetness nor bitterness. It is just right. The recipe is one everyone will enjoy. Cooking this recipe can bring such joy to your friends, family, and neighbors. To ensure that the cookies turn out scrumptious, follow every step precisely.

  • First you begin by putting1 teaspoon of baking soda, a teaspoon of salt, two sticks of Land of Lakes beat butter, 3/4 cup of brown sugar, 3/4 a cup of granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla abstract into a large sized bowl.
  • Next mix the ingredients until you get a creamy soft texture.
  • One the mixture within the bowl has gotten creamy, add two eggs inside the bowl.
  • Stir the eggs around until they become a part of the mixture. When you stop seeing the separation between the eggs and the rest of the mixture you can stop mixing.
  • Also add flour to mixture and 2 cups of Nestle Toll Semi- Sweet Chocolate Morsels.
  • Mix the ingredients again until, the mixture is homogeneous throughout.
  • Once your mixture is the same throughout, it is time to start baking.
  • Take out small portions of the mixture with a spoon and lay it on a baking sheet. The sizes of the cookies can vary, but I recommend having the cookies be one to two inches because they grow bigger as they bake.
  • Heat the oven to 375 Fahrenheit.
  • When the oven reaches the set temperature put the cookies inside.
  • Allow the cookies to bake for 8 to 11 minutes for a nice crisp.
  • When the time is up, remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool for two minutes.
  • After they have cooled off a little bit, enjoy your delicious cookies and share with friends.
I hope you enjoy this classic cookie. xoxoxo CookieGalore
